The long wait is over. Per the Washington Post’s Master Tesfatsion, the Buccaneers will play the Dallas Cowboys in the 2021 season opener.

The Cowboys were a popular choice among many analysts and talking heads and are still considered “America’s Team”, so while the Bills would’ve likely made for better football, the ratings that come with the Cowboys are guaranteed to rake in cash.

Death. Taxes. The NFL making a profit. These are the only guaranteed things in life.

The game is slated to kick off on Thursday, September 9 at 8:20PM EST. This will be the first time that the Buccaneers have played the Cowboys since the 2018 season. The Cowboys lead the all-time series, 15-4, and have won the last two games.
