The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in New England to take on the Patriots on Sunday Night Football. Early Sunday morning, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that recently signed CB Richard Sherman will in fact start against the Patriots.
New #Bucs CB Richard Sherman, who only signed on Wednesday, is expected to start tonight vs. the #Patriots, sources say. Sherman picked up the defense faster than expected, and with some injuries at CB, he's slated to step right in.

The Buccaneers are depleted at the cornerback position. So they’ll roll with Sherman as the starter just five days after signing with the team. With Carlton Davis listed as doubtful and injuries to Jamel Dean and Sean Murphy-Bunting, the Buccaneers look to the veteran.
