– Elusive
– Solid pass blocker

Cons:

– Average speed and acceleration
– Indecisive with his cuts
– Long frame leads to balance issues

Summary:

Isaiah Spiller has good height and physique for a running back. He can start and halt to set up his blockers, utilizing jump cuts. Spiller is a hard runner and a competitive to fit the bill. He has good hands out of the backfield and is a willing blocker in pass protection, but his understanding of protection duties needs to be improved. Spiller is a tall runner with lengthy legs. He’s also hesitant with his cuts, lacking consistent vision and anticipation for developing holes, as well as the speed to compensate. Despite his ability to use jump cuts, he often finds them unproductive and unneeded. And he’ll often try to cut runs back against the grain with little success. Look for Spiller to go off the board in the middle of the 2nd round.
