Report: Buccaneers and Godwin Agree on 3-Year Deal

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and wide receiver Chris Godwin have reached an agreement on a three-year deal worth $60 million dollars. The contract includes $40 million fully guaranteed at signing.

This is a developing situation, we will update this article as new information becomes available. This is pretty much the same deal as Mike Williams got with the Chargers as they share the same agent.

As Greg Auman of The Athletic points out, the deal includes void years. This lowers Godwin’s 2022 cap hit to $5 million.
