How Many Wins Does Vegas Predict for the Buccaneers in 2022

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have seen an improvement in their win/loss record each of the last four years. That is the longest stretch of win increases per season in Buccaneers history. This obviously points to the Bucs increasing their win total in the 2022 season right? Not according to Vegas.

Draft Kings sports book has the Buccaneers over/under win total at 11.5 for this season. That total is 1.5 games lower than the Buccaneers win total in 2021, but still the highest of any NFC team’s projection this year bt Draft Kings.

To be fair, the Bucs do face a gauntlet of a schedule this season. Facing eight playoff teams from last year doesn’t help in improving the teams win total of 13 from 2021.

The Buccaneers have reloaded this offseason by retaining free agents Leonard Fournette (RB), Ryan Jensen (C), Carlton Davis (CB) and Chris Godwin (WR). They’ve also added safeties Logan Ryan and Keanu Neal, Russell Gage (WR) and Shaq Mason (G). They will join Tom Brady (QB) as they attempt kick off newly promoted head coach Todd Bowles first season at the helm.

The Buccaneers may not surpass their win total of 13 last regular season, but they are poised to win the division and make another run at the Lombardi trophy.
