Buccaneers Brady Tells Gronk, “Need to Have Healthy Eating Habits to be Great This Season”


Tight end Rob Gronkowski hasn’t yet committed to coming back and playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’s toyed with the media with every question asked. In an interview with TMZ in April, Gronk said he is, “not ready to commit to the game of football. I knew if I started catching some passes that my head would have started turning, like, ‘Oh, crap, I got to get back out on the field,’” Gronkowski stated. “And, right now, I’m not ready to get back out on that field. I’m not ready to commit to the game of football right now.”

So while Gronk is sticking with the non-committal strategy, his buddy and quarterback Tom Brady might have let the cat out of the bag on Instagram.

Brady, ever the health nut posted some tips for Gronkowski’s eating habits on a picture of Gronk’s favorite smoothie recipe.

“My favorite TE @Gronk need to have healthy eating habits to be great this season,” Brady posted along with a photo of Gronkowski’s favorite smoothie recipe.

Sure sounds like “this season” is Brady tipping the hand of Gronkowski and his decision. Lets be honest, nearly 99.9999999% of us have always thought Gronk was coming back. This post on Instagram by Brady just seems like further confirmation of that. It’s my guess, knowing how Gronk is that he will sign at the latest date possible, probably June 9th knowing him.
