The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed veteran defensive tackle Akiem Hicks to a one-year deal worth up to $10 million per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Former Bears’ DL Akiem Hicks reached agreement today on a one-year deal worth up to $10 million with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per source. Deal negotiated by Bucs’ exec Mike Greenberg and agents @DrewJRosenhaus and @RyanMatha.

Hicks is a proven veteran that has played in a 3/4 system with success. This moves appears to all but rule out the Buccaneers bringing back defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh.
