Von Miller Reflects on Trash Talking Buccaneers and Brady

Von Miller and the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Buccaneers in last year’s playoffs. We all remember thevway that hame ended. I’m sure most of you have replayed it in your heads over and over.

Just incase you’ve been living under a rock, the game was arguably one of the best of the 2021 season. The Buccaneers trailed the Rams 27-3 late in the third quarter. Miller and the rest of the Rams were seemingly in control and the trash talking began. Miller even felt comfortable trash talking Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady.

Tugging on Superman’s Cape

As if Miller and the Rams hadn’t seen Brady lead a team back from a deficit like that, the trash talk backfired. With just minutes left in the game, the Buccaneers had tied it at 27 a piece. We’ll let Miller finish telling this story in the video below.

The Rams did in fact end up winning the game on a blown coverage by the Buccaneers’ secondary. Miller and the Rams went on to win the Super Bowl, but Miller learned a valuable lesson. You don’t tug on Superman’s cape, especially when it’s the GOAT wearing it.
