Buccaneers’ Brady, “I Watch a Lot of Bad Football”

Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady didn’t pull any punches when asked about the quality of play he sees around the NFL.

The subject came up when Brady was asked about parity in the league with so many teams sitting at 2-2. The fact that there’s nearly half the league with a .500 record, including the Buccaneers is surprising, but also by league design.

“I think there’s a lot of bad football from what I watch,” Brady stated. “I watch a lot of bad football. Poor quality of football. That’s what I see.”

Brady talked about numerous coaching and GM changes as well as player turnover.

“I think every year the challenge of football is that everyone starts at the bottom. You gotta work your way up. There’s a lot of new players, a lot of transition, guys come and go. The teams, the strengths are different. That why everyone tunes in to watch football every week because you never know what you’re going to get.”

Brady also dismissed his shoulder injury saying, “I’ll be there Sunday.”
