The NFL playoffs are finally here and like we all expected three months ago the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be a part of them. They open their quest for a third championship by playing host to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night.
The two teams opened the season battling each other in Dallas. The Buccaneers would come out on top 19-3. That seems like light-years ago. The Cowboys went on to win 12 games while the Bucs struggled to eight wins finishing with a sub-.500 record.
So, with both teams seemingly headed in different directions, what will the Buccaneers need to beat the Cowboys again? The answer in short is Playoff Lenny, if you ask Rob Gronkowski.
Gronkowski was recently on the “Up & Adams”hosted by Kay Adams. The Gronk talked about who will step-up for the Buccaneers in the playoffs.
“Playoff Lenny always steps it up when it comes to crunch time.”

Leonard Fournette’s nickname came from his 2020 performance in that year’s playoffs. During that Playoff run Fournette posted 64 carries for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns while also adding 18 catches for 148 yards and one touchdown.
The Buccaneers have had several issues this season as a team. From injuries to mental lapses to just bad luck. This team has gone through it, and is still standing. Let’s hope Gronkowski is right and we see the re-emergence of Playoff Lenny. Lord knows the team needs it.
