Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ first-round pick Calijah Kancey went down with a calf injury during the team’s second week of training camp. The diagnosis was reported to calf strain that would keep Kancey out 4-6 weeks. That timetable might be getting shorter.
As reported by multiple media members in attendance, Kancey was seen at Buccaneers’ practice Monday without the boot and push scooter he’d previously been seen wearing.
No boot for @Ckancey8 so that is certainly a positive #GoBucs @953WDAE pic.twitter.com/Rob9H8gUJc

To be clear this isn’t suggesting that Kancey is back from the calf injury. More so that he is recovering in a timely manner. The regular season opener against the Vikings is less than a month away. And while no word on Kancey’s availability for that game, it’s still safe to say he’s questionable at best for the opener.
As always we will keep you posted as new information becomes available.
