With Tom Brady still fighting to get his 4 game suspension dropped, Second year quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo remains the Patriots starting QB.(Tom Brady did start against the Saints but didn’t look well at all)
The patriots go three an out on their first possession. The Saints however, go 61 yards on their first possession but could not find the end zone as the patriot defense holds them to a 27 yard field goal. Mark Ingram had only 2 carries for 5 yards, but he destroyed the Patriot defense with 2 receptions for 40 yards, which includes a strike from Drew Brees for 29 yards!

The Saints second drive of the game made the first one look like nothing as they moved the ball with ease for 62 yards in 8 plays. Drew Brees who did not play last week looked amazing in typical Brees fashion, completing all 4 of his passes and finds Ben Watson for the touchdown.

Mean while the patriot offense looked horrific as they totaled 12 yards and zero first downs in 9 plays. Patriots superstar QB, Tom Brady went 2 of 5 for 13 yards in 3 pathetic series but he was without Gronk, Edelman, Aaron Dobson or Brandon Lafell.
Drew Brees found second year WR Brandin Cooks for a 45 yard touch down pass!! Saints Fail a 2 point conversion for a second time.

QB Drew Brees ended his 3 series performance 8 of 10 for 159 yards and 2 touchdowns!
There was a bright side to the Patriots abysmal performance with Jimmy Garoppolo, who went 11 of 13 for 113 yards and 1 touchdown!
Garoppolo had an impressive 5 play 80 yard drive in the 2nd quarter and capping it off with a 20 yard touchdown pass to Chris Harper.
Garoppolo directs the game winning drive by orchestrating 28 completions out of 33 passes for 269 yards and one touch down and one interception, which in the end set up Grotkowski for a 35 yard field goal, Ending the game with the lead 26-24!
