Jameis Winston certainly took care of business today. I cannot find anything wrong with the way he played today. He was downright impressive in my opinion and at times, he was just perfect. Too bad that can’t be said about the rest of team. In a mind-boggling loss to the Redskins, one has to wonder: Who decided to switch the defensive game plan up at the half?
“In the past two games, Winston completed 34-of-48 passes (70.8 percent) for 506 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He’s playing great football right now, especially for a rookie quarterback. Winston established career-bests with 297 yards passing, a 72.4 percent completion percentage and a 128.1 QB rating against Washington on Sunday. It’s a shame that his great play was wasted with another awful showing by Tampa Bay’s pass defense. Winston now has 10 touchdowns (nine passing, one rushing) and seven interceptions this season. Winston is on pace to throw 24 touchdowns and 18 interceptions in his rookie campaign.” – Report by Scott Reynolds
