Doug Martin:100 yards rushing for the 3rd time in a row

One shining moment, in what was otherwise a dismal performance by the Tamp Bay Buccaneers, was running back Doug Martin. It seemed that Doug Martin couldn’t be stopped. Rushing for over 136 yards he had a phenomenal day. Although, he couldn’t find the end zone today, he is the first Buccaneers running back to rush for over 100 yards in 3 consecutive games since Cadillac Williams in 2005.

Doug Martin went over 100 yards for the third straight game — a first in his four-year NFL career — and reached that mark with a 49-yard run that seemed to put the game away, at the Redskins’ 5-yard line with the lead and four minutes remaining.”– Reported by Greg Auman
