The Browns have had a lot of QB’s come and go. Nothing seems to click for them. Since 2010, and Colt Mcoy, the Browns have not had a quarterback produce more than 5 wins. And since the days when, Vinny Testaverde, Tim Couch, and Derek Anderson graced the roster, no Browns QB has played 2 full seasons.
“After Austin Davis and the Browns tanked in a miserable 37-3 home loss to the Bengals on Sunday, it re-opened the door for Johnny Manziel to come back and play. The team will again turn to the second-year quarterback to take the reins as its starter in a Week 14 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, via a source informed of the decision. Coach Mike Pettine said in his Monday press conference, however, he isn’t prepared to name a starter yet.” – Reported by Conor Orr
