Kwon drops suspension appeal and will serve his time

The decision to serve his suspension now comes as a shock to most Bucs fans. “What about the wild card run?” is the question that most fans will be asking. If he is suspended, starting with the Saints game, he will miss the last four games of the season. However (and correct me if I’m wrong), he would be eligible to play in the post season and would start the 2016 season, with nothing holding him back. I believe this is the best option, so it is now up to the NFL to decide, whether or not, he will start his suspension, this week. I sure hope so.

“The Buccaneers will have to complete their quest for the playoffs this season without starting middle linebacker Kwon Alexander. Alexander dropped his appeal of a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs, and is expected to begin serving his suspension this week, a league source told The Tampa Tribune. The NFL was still processing the matter and had not officially notified the Bucs of Alexander’s decision as of late Monday, so coach Lovie Smith refrained from discussing it in detail.” – Reported by Roy Cummings
