Mike Evans preps for the Panthers defense

Mike Evans sounds like he is excited at the possibility of facing Panthers corner Josh Norman. After Norman and Beckham Jr.’s scuffle the last time they met, could we be in for a repeat of that with Mike Evans?

“Like his team, Bucs receiver Mike Evans wants to finish the 2015 season on a positive note, but he’ll try to do so Sunday against a Carolina defense that has held him in check as well as any in the league. That might include Panthers cornerback Josh Norman, who intercepted Jameis Winston twice in their first matchup, returning one for a touchdown. He’s headed to the Pro Bowl, but Evans hopes to face him first.”-“I’m excited for it,” Evans said of facing Carolina’s defense. “I don’t know if I’ll see (Norman) or not. First game, he didn’t match me. I hope he does. It’ll be a fun game. They play a lot of Cover 3, zone, but they play a little bit of man, so maybe I’ll see him.”– Reported by Greg Auman
