Broncos fan is now on Broncos Super Bowl practice squad

Wouldn’t it be nice to be sitting in the stands during your favorite team’s Championship game, and they win? Yes, very exciting! But, wouldn’t it be much more exciting to find out that they want you to join them on the Super Bowl practice squad? That would be a dream come true, and came true it did for one fan, who happened to be an ex-NFL Tightened, and played for the Colorado Buffaloes, in college. He may have only played for one season, started in one game, but he did catch one pass, and it was for a TD. Very interesting turn of events from one time NFL player to long time fan, to on the Super Bowl practice squad for your favorite team. Very cool!

“Nick Kasa played football at Broomfield Legacy High School in Colorado before playing four years at the Colorado University. In 2013, he was drafted in the sixth round by the Oakland Raiders. He played all 16 games his rookie year, but only caught one pass — it was a touchdown in Week 17 against his hometown Broncos. Kasa was at the AFC title game last week when he received a call from the Denver Broncos. They wanted him to join the practice squad, but he didn’t find out until later because he dropped and cracked his phone during the call. It wasn’t until he restored his service with a new phone the next day that he realized what the call was about.” Report by Jared Dubin
