Mike Glennon is not a free agent but is entering into his fourth NFL season. His rookie year he played 13 games after taking over for Josh Freeman and threw for over 2,500-yards and 19 TDs. Lovie Smith came to Tampa and benched him for Josh McCown, which made no sense at all. Now, he will sit behind Jameis Winston. Glennon seems to be a waste of talent. A Qb as good as he is should not be riding the pine, and could be used in Denver. Mike Glennon deserves a second chance in the NFL, and could lead Denver to another Super Bowl. No official word has come out that this is in the works, but as speculation, it seems fitting. Denver could give up a couple of high draft picks in an attempt to entice Tampa into a trade, but GM Jason Licht’s statement earlier that Glennon would not be available for trade makes this unlikely.
Other quarterbacks that could fit in Denver are Ryan Fitzpatrick and Robert Griffin III
