Quarterback Jameis Winston had put a lot of work in over the offseason, so much so that everyone took notice, and was pleasantly surprised.
Mike Evans was one of many who went on record to state how impressed they were by Winston’s results. “He lost a lot of weight. He slimmed out. I was joking with him the other day. He took his shirt off, and I said ‘Man, what happened to the belly?’ He’s got a six-pack like me. He’s put in a tremendous amount of work and I think it’s going to be a great year for him and this whole team.”
Jameis Winston has been working with NBA trainer Tim Grover during the offseason. Grover has trained NBA greats like Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. Grover said that Winston has lost around 18 lbs since the end of last season.
Donovan Smith said, “He’s in great shape. Toned up a little bit. He’s excited and so are we.”
Teammates and fans alike, have noticed a difference already in his performance in Tuesday’s practice and hope that this change is a sign of things to come.
