Senator Marco Rubio has announced that he will not run for re-election later on this year, although he is too young right now, interestingly enough, Tim Tebow has actually entertained the idea of possibly entering the political world, just probably not right now. However, according to sources, the Florida Republican party is hoping to convince Tebow to run for U.S Congress in Florida’s 4th district, this includes the Jacksonville area, where he is originally from. The congressional seat will be available after 71 year -old Republican Congressman Ander Crenshaw announced that he will be retiring soon and not running for re-election. Tebow recently stated that the prospect of getting into politics to make a difference was very intriguing.
If he were to become the Republican nominee, he would be a shoo-in and may be the fast track option to getting him in Congress without him having to deal with serious competition. Could we see Tim Tebow in office in the near future?
