Timmy Jernigan, a second-year defensive tackle out of Florida State, has chosen to wear the number 99 while playing for the Baltimore Ravens and he does it as a tribute to Warren Sapp. Jernigan told the Ravens Website that the reason he chose to tribute Sapp is for the way he played. “Just the way he played the game; nasty, ferocious, he came every play. You definitely knew he was there when he made a play.”
That seems pretty cool to me, but Sapp doesn’t see it that way, as a matter of fact he asked the Ravens via twitter how to stop it.
