Kelvin Benjamin is slowly but surely returning.

The Panther WR suffered a season-ending knee injury in early 2015 but is now back to participating in team activities. The last time he participated in any team activities was last August during a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins. That was the practice he tore his ACL. Benjamin missed the first couple of OTAs this week but was on the field Thursday for the first time. His participation consisted of individual drills and was kept from 11-0n-11 drill, in order to further rehab his injury.

The receiver said he will be taking it slow and ensuring that he will be ready for training camp and hopefully, week one. “We have time, so why rush it? I am coming back off an injury, so I just want to get back out there and get the pace of the offense again and get real comfortable with the plays. They did a lot of things different last year than my first year. I just want to get back out and get into the offense.”
