Teams should fear Mike Evans

If it wasn’t for the ridiculous catches being made by Odell Beckham, Mike Evans would easily be considered the best WR talent to come from the 2014 draft. I personally believe he already is.

In two seasons Mike Evans had 142 catches for 2,275 yards and 15 touchdowns. His size still makes him a viable red zone threat, despite the fact he had 11 dropped passes, in 2015.

Although, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers paid Doug Martin a ton of money for his services, this is Jameis Winston’s football team. Vincent Jackson is still around, but Mike Evans will be one of the main offensive targets next season. And for years to come.

We will see Jameis look to Evans again, in 2016 and keep him more involved in passing plays.

I expect that his drop issues were nothing but a fluke, and will be a non-factor.  Evans will rack up another 1,200 yard or more season, but this time,  with more touchdowns.
