With the Bucs having the day off today I’m looking to the Jaguars game next Saturday and reflecting back to the loss to the Eagles.
There was a firestorm on social media when WR Kenny Bell fumbled the opening kickoff and seemingly set the pace of several faux pas in the first several minutes against the Eagles Thursday night.
Coach Koetter said Bell had a solid game despite the fumble. Koetter went on to say Bell did his job on five specific plays including a double-move on the last drive but was overthrown.
He either wasn’t targeted or the ball was not catchable but he was open on several occasions and did his job well.
Save Bell’s lynch mob with three more preseason games for him to work hard and try to move up the depth chart!
