During Monday’s practice, first-round draft pick Sheldon Rankins was carted off the practice field. Rankins was injured during a goal-line drill. The team has yet to make an official announcement pertaining to the incident, however, it is said that Rankins is believed to have a broken fibula. Rankins will undergo more tests, but it also noted that surgery is to be expected for Rankins sometime this week.
