Wednesday’s practice will be in full pads, marking Jag’s coach, Gus Bradley’s, first joint practice in his four years in Jacksonville. It will also be a homecoming, of sorts, for Dirk Koetter as he served as OC on Jack Del Rio’s staff. Koetter said Spence started making an impact on the second play of the game vs the Eagles. He also said Spence has had no slump days thus far in camp.

Spence, who Gerald McCoy has taken under his wing, is already gaining notice across the NFL, as well as in Tampa. Spence has been called the best pure pass rusher in the draft by many scouts but was passed on by many teams due to off-field issues.

His speed was evident in the game against Philadelphia, as Spence and the Bucs defense recorded four sacks and ten hits on Eagles QBs. McCoy also commented on Spence’s speed off the corner. If he matures as Winston has, then he could potentially become defensive rookie of the year.

Bucs fans, as well as NFL fans, should keep a close eye on Noah Spence this year as he’s working very hard for a starting spot and to prove his doubters wrong!
