The offensive line has suffered a few blows already this preseason and now Ali Marpet is wearing the boot. Not exactly known why Marpet has the boot on, but it is known that he is able to walk on his booted right leg and does not need to use any crutches or a cane to get around. With Sweezy being out, and now Ali Marpet in a boot, the Buccaneers are thankful to have Caleb Benenoch back from his injury. What this means for Friday’s game is unknown, but does look as if we may be without Ali Marpet. The Veteran Evan Smith seems to be the likely fill-in for Marpet considering he is the only remaining Buccaneers guard with any NFL playing experience. However, it is not out of the realm of possibility to see Benenoch getting some more snaps now that he has returned.
