Brate the Great? Could he be the franchise TE?

-lI Believe So.

Here is a guy that has made the best of his opportunities, dating back to last year with his first NFL TD against the Falcons. His rookie opportunity began when Austin Seferian-Jenkins went down with injuries.

Now that Brate is starting At TE he will have his chance to shine, although after the first two games as a second string TE he had double the catches that ASJ had.

Brate is a Harvard graduate. That in itself is a feat that takes hard work, determination and not to mention smarts. He started all 28 games that he appeared in for Harvard bringing in 18 TDs ranking him 4th in school history.

With a 2 TD game against the Rams behind him and almost a full year to show us the fans and the Bucs what he can do as our starting TE, I think Brate will be out to prove you don’t have to come from a top-tier school to be a great player in the NFL.
