The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have promoted wide receiver Jeremy Butler to the active roster for Monday night’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Butler was one of the NFL’s receiving leaders, during the preseason, before ultimately falling victim to the final roster cuts. He was quickly picked up by Tampa and has remained on their practice squad until Tuesday.
Butler had 31 rec. for 363 yards during his 8 games in 2015, and should prove to be an extra, reliable, target for Jameis Winston. Jeremy Butler, a Bradenton, Florida Native, should do nicely as the 4th receiver for the Bucs.
