Buccaneers showing heart

As we all know, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been bitten by the injury bug quite a bit this year. Doug Martin and Robert Ayers have both missed 4 and a half games, we’ve lost Charles Sims and Vincent Jackson for the season, and a slew of other key injuries including Gerald McCoy and Clinton McDonald.

Injuries like these are never easy to overcome, but it seems the past 3 weeks have given new life to a Bucs squad that was struggling. In the 17-14 Monday night win over the Panthers, the Bucs had most of those several key players out and somehow the team pulled together and put together a complete performance.

The bye week gave our starters, like GMAC, time to get healthy and get back on the field for practice; And even though we did lose Vincent Jackson to IR and Doug Martin suffered a setback, our Bucs stood tough and put together an amazing performance against the 49ers with a 34-17 victory.

When you have players who are committed to being on that field no matter what and pushing to be better than ever, it’s only a matter of time before everyone gets healthy and we have something extremely special to watch week in and week out!
