Bucs take on Raiders at Raymond James

After back to back road wins, it’s time for the Bucs to head back home to Raymond James Stadium for a face off against the Oakland Raiders in week 8.

The Bucs will be giving out a “Starting Lineup Jameis Winston collectible figure” to everyone in attendance that day. It will mark the first time that Starting Lineup has produced anything since 2001.

Now it’s been fun these last two weeks but, I think reality is going to strike in next week’s game. The Bucs are going to have to truly fight if they want to come away with a victory against the 5-2 Oakland Raiders.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Bucs are ranked 12th in total offense with 365.3 YPG now that the rushing is taking back off. They are averaging 21.3 points per game. The Raiders are ranked 11th in total offense with 369.6 YPG and they are averaging 26.4 points per game.

As for the defense, the Bucs are ranked 13th overall, allowing 350.7 YPG and an average of 26.5 points per game. The raiders are ranked last in the league in total defense, allowing 430.4 YPG and 25.6 points per game.

As you can see by the yards and points allowed by Oakland, there is definitely room for Jameis Winston and the offense to put up some big numbers. If the defense can continue their recent trend of coming up with big plays when it really matters, there is a good opportunity here to finally find themselves above .500 for the first time since losing to Arizona in week 2.
