Former NFL and University of Cincinnati RB Isaiah Pead will sadly never be able to play again. Rams coach Jeff Fisher says his career is over after the injuries he sustained from a car crash Saturday.
Pead was critically injured in a single-car accident when he drove off the side of interstate 670 in Columbus, Ohio. According to the Sheriff’s office, Pead lost control of the vehicle around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. He was ejected from the vehicle. The passenger with him, Wesley Richardson, 27, was in stable condition. Police said drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
Isaiah Pead was selected by the Rams in the 2nd round of the 2012 draft. He has played for the Steelers and the Dolphins.
