The NFC South has undoubtedly been one the best division in regards to quarterbacks. The quarterbacks in this division have been terrorizing opposing defenses for many years. Drew Brees, Cam Newton, and Matt Ryan have made the NFC South one of the most competitive divisions in the league. Jameis Winston is fairly new to the NFL but has quickly found himself joined with the elites to form a four-headed monster.
Last season, Drew Brees threw for 5,000 yards, while Ryan and Winston both managed to throw for over 4,000 yards. Newton was the only one out of the four quarterbacks to not hit the 4,000-yard mark but is one of the. 3 out of 4 quarterbacks to have reached the Super Bowl. Brees, being the only one out of the group to win the big game. Winston will hopefully get there in the next couple of years.
MVPs, league leaders, and Pro Bowlers make up this talented group and it would not be surprising in the least bit if all of these aerial attackers are eventually enshrined in the Hall of Fame. While Brees is beginning to close the door on his illustrious career Matt Ryan, Cam Newton, and Jameis Winston will carry on in continuing the greatness that is the NFC South Quarterback.
