Buccaneers: Mike Evans Makes Pro Football Focus top 50 players.

Ranking in on their list at #33, earning himself a grade of 93.3, Evans is proving to be one of the best receivers in the game. “The highlight reel Evans put up in 2016 was one of the best you will ever see from a wide receiver.” PFF writes, and I have to agree. He is one heck of a Powerhouse on the field and was Jameis Winston’s main target.

In 2016 alone he racked up 96 receptions for 1,321 yards and 12 touchdowns, not only that, but his one-handed catch against the Atlanta Falcons earned the title, Performance Play of the Year and the best of 2016. Not to mention it was an incredible play to watch. If that wasn’t impressive enough, Pro Football Focus, unlike NFL.com, ranks their players by their overall performance, rather than only the best players of last season. A list that used to span to 101 top players, was cut in half this year to just 50. Mike Evans is the first player on his team to make this exceptional list with his overall stats of 238 receptions with 3,578 yards and 27 touchdowns since the start of his career in 2014.

Some may say he could have easily been ranked higher with stats like that, along with his amazing performance on the field. But however you look at it though, you have to agree that he is a force to be reckoned with on the field and I am excited to see what he brings to the game this season.
