Jameis Winston an MVP candidate for 2017?

Thanks to an active and quite lucrative off-season, the Buccaneers front office has brought in a lot of weapons for famous Jameis Winston coming into 2017.

The off-season began with a splash when Tampa Bay signed free agent speedster DeSean Jackson, a 9 year veteran of the NFL who spent the last 3 seasons with Washington. Then in the draft, the Bucs stole TE O.J. Howard out of Alabama in the first round, and drafted WR Chris Godwin out of Penn State in the third to go with incumbents TE Cameron Brate and WR stud, Mike Evans.

Although I could break down individuals stats, I think it’s fair to say with the limited amount of talent on the roster in Winston’s first 2 years in the league, he still put up numbers that rival any quarterbacks first 2 seasons in the NFL. This is a testament to Jameis’ growth, maturity and understanding his position. He also puts in the time with his receivers building chemistry and that only intensified this off-season.

If Winston can build on the chemistry he’s already achieved with Brate and Evans, and with these new toys at his disposal, it’s safe to say, Famous Jameis is going to light up the league this year and for many years to come. Let’s go!!
