Cameron Brate, a 4th year tight end, who had a breakout 2016 season with the Buccaneers, was recently named the Bucs Secret Superstar by Pro Football Focus, and for good reason. Brate was a top ten tight end last year, catching 57 passes for 660 yards and also made 8 touchdowns, tying him with Chargers TE Hunter Henry with the most for tight ends making him the 2nd most productive receiving target for the Bucs.

“TE Cameron Brate

2016 snaps: 705

Key stat: Dropped only two passes all season to earn the fifth-best drop rate among TEs (3.4 percent).

He caught eight touchdowns from 78 targets and dropped just two of those targets for a drop rate of 3.4 percent of catchable balls, the fifth-best mark among TEs in the league.”

His improvement over the past few years has been impressive, to say the least! I am excited to see what he brings to the game this season.
