OJ Howard quietly stands out.

Howard did not light up the stats during last Friday’s preseason game and dropped the only pass that was thrown at him. However, his blocking ability is making an obvious difference in the running game and is most note worthy.

His blocking skills will likely become his first real defining mark early in the preseason and on into the early season for Howard, but we know he can catch so, that will soon follow. Howard should get more playing time during Thursday’s game against the Jaguars and have more opportunity to make plays. But for now, his skill at the block is most impressive and nothing to complain about.
