Nick Folk went 3 for 3 against the Browns Saturday night and did it in the rain. Hitting a 31 yarder, 42 yarder, and a 43 yarder, makes coach Koetter extremely happy, but Folk is not taking it easy. He knows there is still a lot of kicking talent still available.
Despite the blocked extra point and missed FG against the Jags, he had seemed to find his groove Saturday night.
He pointed out that LS Garrison Sanborn and punter Brian Anger held the ball perfectly for him and that made the kicks easier for him. Hopefully, this is a sign that the kicking questions are answered, although one question still remains. What will happen when Folk kicks beyond 45 yards?
Folk is 81% on his FGs, during his 10-year career, which is a good sign considering the woeful kicking we had just a year ago.
