Justin Evans has arrived!

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking Justin Evans in the second round many fans expected him to come in and start right away. As we are a quarter of the way through the season we see that has not happened. Playing sparingly in the first three games Evans showed flashes of what he can do, but did not get many chances to showcase his entire game.

Ward and Tandy missed the Thursday night game against the vaunted New England Patriots. Those injuries, shot Evans up the depth chart into a starting role against the dynasty of the decade and one of the best QB’s in NFL history. Many did not know what to expect from Evans with limited film to go back and look at. Evans did everything but disappoint in his starting debut. The young safety had nine total tackles, eight of them being solo. Also in the passing game he showed up big time picking off Brady and having two pass deflections. Evans probably should have two INT’s.

Justin Evans could be a definite missing piece that Tampa has been missing in the back end. With the corners having a guy they can truly trust will go along for the defense. Evans is on the rise in the Tampa community and the NFL will take notice soon!
