Gerald McCoy to Undergo MRI – By Jay Bucs

During yesterday’s loss to the Lions, many saw the grimacing look from personnel and players on the sideline, also the tears coming from GMAC’s eyes. Many questionable fans decided to take to social media and call our veteran DT a cry baby and other horrible things that I will not share with you. If you are one of those who did so, then you  #$@&%*!  should be ashamed of yourself.

Gerald McCoy, in fact, was injured on the very first play of the game and decided to play through the pain. Ofcourse the pain became too much for the veteran to bare. McCoy believed that if he stayed in the game that he would have caused more damage than good and believed that a fresh pair of legs would have been better. For that reason alone, he pulled himself from the game.

Number 93 believes that he had suffered a torn bicep and having done so twice in the past, can attest to what the injury most likely is. He will have an MRI done at some point on Monday and if it turns out that it is a tear then McCoy’s season is likely at an end. Therefore the reason for his tears on the sideline.

I expect the Buccaneers to reach out to free agent defensive tackles this week in preparation for Monday Night’s Ring of Honor Game vs the Falcons. One which I will be attending.
