Jameis Winston Tops Marino’s Record and Mike Evans Joins The Elite.

Last week, Jameis Winston tied Dan Marino’s long-standing record for the most TD’s thrown by a QB under the age of 24. On New Year’s Eve Winston broke that record against the New Orleans Saints as they unexpectedly defeat the Saints and end the season with a Bang!

During the 4th quarter with Nine Seconds left on the clock and trailing the Saints by 1 point, Jameis Winston landed his historical 69th TD pass, surpassing Marino’s 68, with a 39-yard pass to stud rookie receiver Chris Godwin.  Godwin had a hell of a game recording 7 catches for 111-yards and the game-winning TD.

Veteran receiver Mike Evans only had 55-yards on the day,  but that was enough to place the star receiver among the NFL’s elite receivers. Evans ends the 2017 season with 1001 yards, making it his 4th consecutive 1,000-yard season and only the third receiver in NFL history to do so. He joins A.J. Green and Randy Moss.
