Female NFL Coach Jen Welter took to Instagram recently to announce the new Grrridirongirls Girls Flag Football Clinic that will take place at Police Athletic Fields in Tampa on Saturday, October 13th, from 1PM-5PM.

She captioned the photo with, “Can the game be changed? We do it every day. The @buccaneers & {I} are bringing the #grrridirongirls to @tampaparksrec (fire emojies) s/o to @theinferno_womensfootball &@coach_stone_football. Inquiries and registrations directly through Tampa Recreation Center! Call me crazy…but I think it’s about time every team had a grrridiron girls camp.” You can see the original post here.

ESPN’s Jenna Laine took to Twitter not long after to congratulate Welter and Buccaneers co-owner Darcie Glazer Kassewitz on their new program. “Major kudos to Bucs co-owner/Buccaneers Foundation president Darcie Glazer Kassewitz and @jwelter47 for starting the new Jr. Bucs Girl’s Flag Football League, the first of its kind in Tampa. They’re providing 24 local recreation centers with new equipment and jerseys,” Jenna wrote via Twitter. You can find the original post on her Twitter page here.
