It is being reported by Brad Briggs of the Chicago Tribune that Bowles to Tampa Bay is not a done deal saying via Twitter,
“Todd Bowles has not signed a contract with #Buccaneers and is expected to choose between re-joining Bruce Arians in Tampa Bay or being #Bears defensive coordinator.”
This is an interesting development for a guy who seemed to be a slam dunk to join Arians staff in Tampa Bay.
UPDATE: Bears HC Matt Nagy’s father coached Bowles in high school, and it seems they are attempting to scoop him up with that personal connection. As this late twist develops, Bucs Report will make sure to keep you updated.
