Report: Kareem Hunt investigation to wrap up before start of FA

0

It has been reported by NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport that it’s the goal of the league office to finish investigation on three separate incidents involving RB Kareem Hunt before the start of free agency in March.

At this point in the NFL’s investigation, Hunt has not spoken to investigators. Which is the last piece needed before league official decide on Hunt’s looming suspension.

Depending on the length of any possible suspension, Hunt maybe be picked up by running back needy teams. The Buccaneers could possibly be a good fit for the troubled free agent who are in need of a solid running game. That said, it is speculative at this point for any team in the league to be a viable option until the NFL decides on Hunt’s fate in 2019.
