Updated Report: Kwon Being Seriously Pursued By Jets. 49ers Interested Also

*This Report was updated at 12:35PM EST to reflect updated reports on Kwon Alexander.

In a report by Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the Bucs are preparing to lose LB Kwon Alexander to free agency. As the NY Jets and San Francisco 49ers are now pursuing him.

He is reportedly seeking a deal in the $12 million per year range. The Bucs have reportedly offered him, after his injury, a contract extension at $10 million per year.

Talks since that point though have stalled.

Benjamin Allbright reported just before noon that the Jets are very interested in Alexander.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com as confirms these reports.

It looks like Alexander’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, isn’t getting the +$12 million offers they were anticipating. That said the Bucs are now reports that that they are still trying to find a way to keep him. As obviously they wouldn’t want to lose him if they can help it. Per Dianna Russini.
