During the Coaches Breakfast today, HC Bruce Arians remarked about CB Vernon Hargreaves. Stating that they had the cornerback high on their draft board in Arizona, and has potential despite the nagging injuries.
Per Greg Auman of the Athletic,
Bucs' Bruce Arians said he liked Vernon Hargreaves coming out of Florida, said his three years in Tampa have been hard to evaluate due to injuries: "People say this guy was a bust. He was hurt all the time. It wasn't his fault. He was a hell of a player."

He also went on to say that the plan is to play him full-time at the outside corner position, and find a suitable nickleback.
Arians said the idea is to use Vernon Hargreaves outside at CB full time and find a nickel corner.

It’s commonly accepted that it takes DB’s a few seasons to transition into the NFL before they settle in. For Hargreaves his time is now to do that, and to Arians point he has the talent and ability. All that is needed now is for him to seize upon the opportunity under a strong coaching staff.
