Report: Owners Approve Pass Interference Call Rule

0

The owners Tuesday have approved a rule to make pass interference reviewable, per Jeremy Bergman. This includes non-calls. The provision passed 31-1. Cincinnati was the lone no vote.

“Coaches can challenge those calls in the first 28 minutes of each half. In the final two minutes of each half, those calls will be subject to a booth review.”

This rule change stems, from the non-call during the NFC Championship game in January between the Saints and Rams this past season. The fall out from the controversial non-call is now settled, and the rules will be put into effect for 2019.
