It was reported by Greg Auman of the Athletic that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed backup QB Blaine Gabbert to a $1.5 million deal.
Veteran QB Blaine Gabbert’s one-year deal with the Bucs is worth $1.5 million. $500,000 signing bonus, $1 million non-guaranteed salary. Only slightly more than QB Ryan Griffin is due to make ($1.255m) in 2019.

It would seem that since the majority of his deal is not guaranteed, that it gives Tampa Bay flexibility if they need it.
Without a doubt Gabbert brings his experience under Arians system, and possible help curve the learning process for Winston this off-season.
