The Bucs have announced that they have placed Jason Pierre-Paul on the teams active/NFI list today, and will not be ready in time for training camp.

This active designation gives the team the flexibility to have him return before the start of the regular season or the reserve/NFI list. These next few weeks of recovery will be critical for his season. Until they make a final decision before the start of the regular season, he will continue to count against the roster.
